eTruck Range

Manufacturer-neutral · Physics-based · Winter-proof

Range.
Proven.

Will the electric truck complete your routes — even in January, fully loaded, with an aged battery? eTruck Range simulates real routes with elevation, per-stop payload and charging curves. Instead of a brochure figure and gut feeling.

The problem

The most expensive question in electrification: “Will it make it?”

Brochure figures aren’t enough

500 km of range on paper can become 250 in winter at 19.5 t. Manufacturer tools only compute their own brand — and never the worst case.

Excel doesn’t scale

Home-grown spreadsheets break at the second tour, ignore elevation, and no one can trace the assumptions.

A wrong purchase costs six figures

An electric truck is a €300,000 decision. One route that fails in January turns it into a very expensive mistake.

The engine

What eTruck Range computes

Physics-based consumption model

Rolling resistance, drag, gradient, recuperation, auxiliaries — segment by segment on the real HGV route with elevation.

Winter worst-case in one click

−10 °C, snow, congestion, battery at 80% health. The question every seller has to answer — answered instantly.

Charging curves & stops

SoC-dependent charging power, simulated minute by minute. How long at the depot charger, what does a 45-minute stop really add?

Payload & lift cycles per stop

Distribution and waste collection with variable mass per stop, lift work and hydraulics — duty cycles no other tool knows.

Scenario comparison

Summer vs winter, vehicle A vs B, 90% vs 100% starting charge — as synchronized curves, not a wall of numbers.

Auditable results

Every run stores inputs, assumptions and model version. Results are computed server-side — defensible for management.

The platform

Not just a calculator — a platform

From a single tour to a fleet strategy, from a sales tool to an API.

Manufacturer-neutral vehicle comparison

Which of 90+ electric trucks completes this exact tour? In a matrix, in one click — something brand-bound OEM tools cannot do.

Feasibility rescue

Red tour? The system shows the cheapest change to green: a different vehicle, less payload, or the nearest suitable charging park along the route.

Fleet batch & depot charging plan

50 tours against 3 scenarios as a traffic-light matrix, plus a 15-minute load profile, peak kW and a charging plan for the grid operator.

TCO, CO₂ & battery residual value

Toll, GHG quota, electricity mix, CSRD emissions proof and a transparent residual value for the used market — the commercial side included.

Feasibility Passport

A tamper-proof, publicly verifiable feasibility certificate per tour — computed with eTruck Range, for tenders and grant applications.

Self-improving accuracy

Anonymous real-world consumption improves the model for everyone — the more fleets, the more accurate. No manufacturer sees this data.

Diesel Shadow Mode

Upload your diesel tours: the tool passively shows which an electric truck could already handle today — no risk, no switch.

Sales & leads

A public quick check, branded dealer mode, driver briefing by QR and share links — every result becomes a sales tool.

Public REST API

Embed the engine into your TMS or portal — the Range Truth Engine, with metered billing and OpenAPI docs.

FAQ

Frequently asked

How accurate is the range simulation?

The engine computes physics per route segment — rolling resistance, aerodynamic drag, gradient with recuperation, auxiliary loads, stop-and-go per road class — and calibrates the result against manufacturer data (±10%). Every result states its assumptions and model version. It is planning support, not a guarantee.

Which electric trucks are covered?

Over 90 models and battery variants relevant across Europe, manufacturer-neutral: Mercedes eActros/eEconic, MAN eTGX/eTGS/eTGL, Volvo FH/FM/FMX/FL/FE Electric, Renault E-Tech T/C/D up to 780 kWh, Scania BEV, DAF XB/XD/XF/XG, Iveco S-eWay, plus N1 vans (eSprinter, E-Transit, Master and more) — each with charging curves, usable capacity and MCS capability.

Does it model winter realistically?

Yes — temperature and weather factors (down to snowstorm and black ice), reduced recuperation and lower average speed are in the model. The winter worst-case (−10 °C, snow, congestion, aged battery) is a single click.

Where do routes and elevation come from?

Real HGV routing (not car routing) on OpenStreetMap, including elevation. Climbs and descents enter the energy balance segment by segment, with capped downhill recuperation.

What does eTruck Range cost?

Pro from €249/month, Fleet €749/month, Partner (white-label for dealers and energy providers) from €1,990/month — shown monthly, billed annually. The reference tour can be tested without signing up.

Is our tour data safe?

Tours and depots are sensitive operational data. Hosting in the EU, strict tenant isolation down to the database (row-level security), no sharing with vehicle manufacturers or third parties.

Nobody wants more spreadsheets.

Test your first tour against the winter worst-case — no sign-up, result in seconds.
